Antonio is a 20-year retired combat veteran of the United States Air Force, where he concluded his distinguished career as the Military Working Dog (MWD) Program Manager for twelve military units. During his service, he was hand-selected for multiple assignments, including MWD Trainer, Kennel Master, Unit Trainer, Pre-Deployment Senior Instructor, and Special Tactics Member/Instructor.

Following his retirement in 2013, Antonio brought his operational and canine expertise to the private sector, supporting U.S. Treasury Department and U.S. State Department domestic and international security contracts. His roles included High-Threat Protection Specialist, Emergency Response Team Member, Canine Handler, Kennel Master, and Training Director. 

Antonio later joined the Department of Homeland Security’s National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP), where he served as Unit Canine Trainer and Supervisor of Canine Operations for eleven TSA Passenger Screening Canine (PSC) teams at Denver International Airport. 

In 2018, Antonio transitioned to serve as a Training Advisor for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), developing and mentoring high-performance canine teams. In the fall of 2022, Antonio resigned from his position with 10th Special Forces Group (A) to fulfill a lifelong dream—launching ORO-K9 Services, his vision to deliver world-class training and operational readiness solutions for law enforcement and military K9 professionals.
